Propeller Bslance Weights

Balance weight at 180 and 170 degrees each weighing 14.5 grams. This removed 0.68 IPS for a final balance of 0.01 IPS that clocked around the prop. Basically noise.

Took the engine down to California Power Systems to have Bryan witness the tear down. Bryan has been the only sympathetic ear in this whole adventure so far.

Meet with Rotax at OSH and the FAA

Literally laughed out of the Rotax tent by Ronnie Smith for using bad gas - dissapointing to say the least. Vans was no help - post online was their solution - pitiful. FAA called. Seemed nice enough. Lost interest once he realized it was experimental. Said he'd call Rotax. Never heard from them again.

Metal everywhere - given the shit design of the crank / connecting rods the heart of this engine is toast.
